The one-bag rule that rewired how I travel
Two weeks, one carry-on, zero checked luggage. The exact system that finally made it stick.

I used to pack for the trip I feared. Now I pack for the trip I'm actually taking — and it all fits in one bag.
One-bag travel isn't about deprivation. It's about removing the friction that quietly taxes every journey: no checked-bag wait, no lost luggage, no lugging a suitcase up four flights of stairs.
The system
- Pick a palette. Everything mixes if it shares two or three colours.
- Pack for a week, not two. Laundry exists everywhere humans do.
- Wear the bulk. The heaviest items travel on your body, not in the bag.
The first trip feels like a gamble. By the third, checking a bag feels absurd.
